I like Zilliqa website on first impression. But it's a top 100 chain and live since 2017, so you'd expect it to be top notch. Despite that, I'm missing a whitepaper (not even on Coingecko) and a decent intro video that explains the core concepts behind their sharding tech. I eventually found a whitepaper here

Zilliqa claims to be the first chain to introduce sharding. But I'm giving 4 stars because they're a direct competitor to Near protocol, and judging form my limited research I think they're inferior. I've compared the two on Chat GPT and you can read the results in the attached screenshots, which I think are very helpful.

In summary, Zilliqa uses static sharding offering 3,000+ TPS which is inferior to Near's dynamic approach. Zilliqa is POW while Near is POS. Near also does a much better job at explaining their tech on their Lightpaper. Most big chains have since adopted sharding, so Zilliqa is facing a lot of competition. Show Less
