This particular L1 possesses a distinctive characteristic that provides it with a competitive advantage, distinguishing itself from numerous other L1 models that are currently in abundance. Namely its benefit is a rewarding system for the developers. Why are they doing this you ask? The answer is this - the blockchain industry requires support of developers and developers need funding. Win-win.
This protocol gives developers the tools to quickly build and launch scalable cross-chain dApps and rewards developers based on the value and the impact of their dApp rather than their close association or connections to capital. I think this is particularly good for developers in less developed nations as it helps to democratize access to capital and value for all.
Ultimately the success of this project will come down to whether developers actually want to, like to and feel properly incentivized to build on the Archway platform, this we will only find out over time. But for sure, right now this is definitely one of the more exciting and interesting L1s I have seen and I am not even a developer! Show Less
