Data Ownership Protocol is building something I haven't seen before using zero knowledge proof technology. You can encrypt your digital assets in your wallet so that other users cannot find out what and how much you own. As well, you can send and receive encrypted assets which will not be able to be identified by other users. That's very useful to prevent hackers from targeting someone.

Imagine you go to a store and they accept payment in crypto, because your wallet address will be seen, the cashier could see how many millions of dollars is in your wallet, and he could call out his buddies to come kidnap you... That wouldn't happen with DOP.

There is not much information about tokenomics yet, as they are pre-launch, but in the meantime potential users can qualify for a airdrop using this link: https://doptest.dop.org/id=YEbwKET. Since all the tasks are done on testnet it basically cost nothing to do them, the only problem is the permission requested for the twitter step is really aggressive, I believe it was just a mistake by the team, and they don't have ill intentions, but at worst you may have to consider creating a new twitter account to qualify for that airdrop.

Regardless, it is a very interesting piece of technology, and I intend on using it to encrypt data on metamask and other of my wallets. Show Less
