Open Campus’s $EDU token as been on the market for just over a month at the time of writing this review and has shown pretty stable price action ranging between $1.5 – $1.13 which is great to see that a project has finally not just pumped and then dumped initially on the market like the majority of others. I think this is due to the balanced tokenomics the team manufactured which have not put the token under too much immediate sell pressure. Open Campus current mcap is only $188 million so it does have a lot of room to the upside and the project is listed on pretty much all the big exchanges. These are all good pieces of news for potential investors.

However I see the long term success of this token depending on a few factors - the community the platform they can build around it, the council members they will have governing it, and I am sure they will face some regulatory challenges in regards to teaching within some parts of the globe. I don’t see global governments just letting the education curriculums they have put into place be overthrown without a challenge.

While I really do love the idea of Open Campus especially as it is a project which revolves around education, a subject I am really passionate about, I am most likely not going to invest in this project due to my gut feeling the project is a bit ahead of its time and it won’t get the traction it needs to succeed. Never the less just because I personally don’t want to invest in Open Campus I don’t want to discourage other people from thinking the same as I could be wrong. I definitely believe it is a good idea, they have a capable + experienced CEO in this field, big financial backers, and the already built up community of TinyTap education platform behind them, therefore giving this project a more than a fighting chance to succeed in some type of way.
