Open Campus has quickly gained a significant following on Twitter, with 137k followers, and over 100k members on Discord in just two months. At first glance, some of the followers may appear suspicious, as they resemble bot accounts. However, it is worth noting that the project has received endorsements and retweets from influential and reputable accounts in the space like Animoca, Binance, and Shima Capital to name a few. This suggests that Open Campus might have played a more significant role in growing its following organically than first thought.
By exploring the hashtags #edu and #OpenCampus, it becomes evident that there are numerous genuine accounts expressing excitement and generating hype around the project. However, the community engagement on their Discord seems disappointing, with many unanswered questions in the AMA segment. But on the other hand, the Tiny Tap section of the Discord server appears to be much more active with engagement, and the team behind Tiny Tap, the first organisation to use the Open Campus product are more responsive here.
Although the community may not be the most engaging at the moment, the substantial following they have accumulated in relatively short space of time is promising for the future. Particularly, if the project continues to receive endorsements and attention from credible and prominent accounts within the industry. Show Less
