As much as I would love to see the education industry get disrupted, I don't know that anything backed by Animoca will go sustain financially. Educational games as a whole market is only doing well in a small fraction of the education market which is with young children which are not going to be crypto buyers themselves... Are we really going to see parents put money in crypto for their child to play a game? I'm really not convinced they will get real traction.

So, if we look at the economy for the teachers/parents interactions then it would have to be done outside the school system or in countries with almost no education system to speak of... in which case do they have access to the tech hardware needed to get on blockchain and play games? Maybe, maybe not. I've spent more than 6 years building an EdTech business and it was a nightmare the whole time. EdTech is the industry where entrepreneurs' dreams go to die.

I think someone someday will make it happen, but I doubt it will be a crypto game targeting 6-10 years old children. I'm guessing another pump and dump by Animoca is under way. Most of their investment won't survive the test of time. Show Less
