Open Campus (EDU) Token has a total supply of 1 billion tokens which is a substantial amount that can provide flexibility and utility within the Open Campus ecosystem, with the following distribution:

Binance Launchpad 5% Operational Expenses 4% Liquidity 10% Early Contributors 7.5% Ecosystem Fund 25% Treasury 10% Strategic Sale 13% Advisors 15.5% Team 10%

Overall I think Ocean Campus have put together a fairly balanced and fair approach to their tokenomics. You can see these tokenomics are well structured around a long term success approach with what I consider to be a good vesting schedule that highlights the team’s commitment to the project’s longevity with a 24 month cliff vested over 36 months. However I do think it’s rather unfair that the advisors for this project are allocated 15% where as the team only get team 10% for doing the majority of the work. A 10% treasury with a 1 year cliff and 24 month linear vesting seems fair and also highlights long term commitment to not be able to use all their reverses as quickly as possible and mis-manage the project’s finances so they have the ability to look towards the future for development, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

The significant allocation of 25% to the ecosystem fund demonstrates a strong emphasis on promoting the growth and adoption of the Open Campus Protocol. The liquidity has a 10% allocation and 50% of this unlocked at TGE and rest is to be released linearly over a year. I don’t think they need to be strict on this as Ocean Campus could take a more flexible approach to accommodate for market conditions and adjust the liquidity input accordingly.

I think the biggest sell pressure at TGE and initially after the token’s launch will come from the early contributors who have 7.5% of the supply but only 10% of this will be unlocked at TGE and the rest will be released linearly over 6 months. This has the potential to impact price to the downside but if Ocean Campus can establish some buying pressure via successfully promoting the project especially with Binance launchpad they could stand a chance of battling through this immediate sell pressure and get the token off to a good start.
