The best tokenomics you can have, no tokens ! at least not yet, it might change in the future as they do want to move into a decentralised control over the development of the blockchain so like a DAO, but this can be handled on many different ways and doesn't always require a token.
Currently the team is holding full control over this which makes it a centralised blockchain, they can even freeze the entire blockchain when major errors pop up, sounds like they are prepared to take on a high tps and expect some failures along the way like Solana had. Not a bad thing, just good to know its there.
The chain uses ETH for gasfees (as its linked to this L1) but allows you to pay your gas in any token (will swap it to ETH in the background) so for functionality it doesnt need their own token Show Less
